With no regulations in place, government agencies, like the BBMP and the BWSSB, watch helplessly as event organisers are sourcing huge quantities of water from private tankers for Holi parties.
While bigger events have a minimum guest count of over 150 people, smaller parties at farmhouses usually invite a minimum of 30-50 guests, said a private water tanker owner.
